Title
Harness pendant: King's head
Description
English: A copper alloy near-square harness pendant with eight projections, four large and three small, surrounding a central lozenge. The three small globular projections (possibly foliage) emanate from the angles of the lozenge, the fourth being the suspension loop, which is complete. The four large semi-circular projections, containing swirls of what may also be foliage, issue from the sides of the lozenge. The central lozenge bears a design of a crowned head. No sign of any of the original gilding or enamel. Measurements: 28 mm x 38 mm (max. dimensions including suspension loop).
