English: Original wartime caption: H.H. The Maharajah of Kashmir, one of India's two representatives to the War Cabinet, recently visited a station from which Lancasters operate, in order to gain first hand knowledge of Bomber Command's offensive strength. He was all branches of preparation for a major attack. Picture (issued 1944) shows - H.H. the Maharajah of Kashmire watching the bombing up of a Lancaster. He is accompanied by his own staff officers and British Services' staff officers. |
