English: This professional microscopic image of hand skin is part of a series of close-ups that accompany the band AKA Neomi’s 2021 EP. The songs’ author dissects her past and future love from such proximity that to accompany them with microscopical images was logical. This one was shot for the song Grow Old and shows the singer’s skin that has lost its radiance once zoomed in. In a nod to how we give a part of ourselves to others in relationships, the group has given the right to use the professional magnifications to everyone. Stereo Microscope Olympus SZ, magnification x30, made at the Department of Biology at Biotechnical Faculty of University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Slovenščina: Profesionalna mikroskopska povečava kože na roki je del serije povečav, ki spremljajo triptih pesmi benda AKA Neomi iz leta 2021. Avtorica pesmi secira svoje pretekle in prihodnje ljubezni tako od blizu, da je bilo logično to poudariti z mikroskopskimi slikami. Ta slika spremlja pesem Grow old, ki govori o staranju, in kaže pevkino kožo, ki je v povečavi izgubila sijaj. Kot v razmerjih prepustimo del sebe v skupno rabo, je skupina omogočila uporabo profesionalih povečav vsem. Stereomikroskop Olympus SZ, 30-kratna povečava, posneto na oddelku za biologijo biotehniške fakultete univerze v Ljubljani. |
