Summary

[edit]
Description
English: In 1899 for a period of one month, the U.S. government operating a postal station in Havana, Cuba, cancelled the mail with this Hampden machine cancel. It is quite scarce; only three Havana received cancellations are recorded. This received cancellation was placed on the back of an envelope, so the entire cancellation appears without any obstruction.
