Deutsch: Dresdener Stallhof - Der Stallhof ist Teil des baulichen Ensembles des Dresdener Residenzschlosses. Gebaut 1586-1588 von Paul Buchner nach Entwürfen von Giovanni Maria Nosseni, ist er einer der ältesten noch heute erhaltenen Turnier-Plätze der Welt. Rechts im Bild der "Lange Gang", der den Georgebau mit den kurfürstlichen Stallungen verbindet. Im Obergeschoß befindet sich der "Lange Saal", der bis 1731 die Ahnengalerie der Wettiner beherbergte, anschließend befand sich hier die Gewehrgalerie August des Starken. Im Hintergrund des Hofes befindet sich eine Ringstechbahn mit zwei 6,30 Meter hohen Ringstechsäulen und 2 mal 17 vom Dresdener Gießermeister Hilger gegossenen Pilaren, die die Turnierkampfbahn absteckten. Ebenfalls im Hof Tränke und Schwemme für die Pferde. An der dem Hof abgewandten Fassade des Langen Ganges wurde 1871-1876 der weltberühmte Fürstenzug aus Meissener Porzellan-Fliesen angebracht.
English: The "Stallhof" is part of the architectural ensemble of the Dresden Royal Palace. Built in 1586-1588 by Paul Buchner, designed by Giovanni Maria Nosseni, he is one of the oldest still-preserved places for Knights-duelings in the World.
