Description
Norsk bokmål: Halvor Orebakken (senere Myrvoll) som soldat i den norske hæren, 1920. Han var landskjent som skiløper (kombinert og langrenn) i 1920-årene og deltok i en rekke Norgesmesterskap. Han var sosialist og markerte seg gjennom et livslangt fredsengasjement som blant annet kom til uttrykk i antikrigsdiktene «I kongens klær» og «Ein ungdom spør».
English: Halvor Orebakken (later Myrvoll) as a soldier in the Norwegian Army, 1920. He was nationally known as a skier in the 1920s and took part in several national competitions. He was also a pacifist, poet, and socialist, remembered for his anti-war poems "I kongens klær" ("In the king's clothes" and "Ein ungdom spør" ("A youth asks").
