Summary
[edit]DescriptionHaludovo Hotels Villa by architect Boris Magaš.jpg |
English: The Haludovo Hotel Palace was designed by architect Boris Magaš in 1969 and completed in 1972. The design transitions from the International Style to an early anticipation of the postmodern in Croatian architecture. It was originally launched as the "Penthouse Hotel on the Adriatic" in partnership with Bob Guccione, and has been at the site of a unique social history at the crossroads of the East and the West. In 2016 it featured in the opening episode of the acclaimed TV series "Slumbering Concrete" and in 2019 it featured in "Concrete Utopia" at MoMA - the Museum of Modern Art in New York. |
