Description
English: Hallwood Park In the late 17th and 18th centuries a number of prominent gentlemen lived in the Runcorn area including Sir John Chesshyre of Hallwood, a barrister, who built the Chesshyre Library at Halton. This new housing estate was named after his nearby mansion.
