Address sticker prisoner post: According to the Hague Land Warfare order, the prisoners of war were allowed to receive relief shipments from their home countries. Indian prisoners in the Halfmoon camp received numerous shipments from England. These packages, exempt from postage and duties, could contain clothing, money or food. Here in the picture the address label of a "bread shipment" that was sent via an aid agency in neutral Switzerland.

Adressaufkleber Gefangenenpost: Laut Haager Landkriegsordnung war es den Kriegsgefangenen erlaubt, Hilfssendungen ihrer Heimatländer in Empfang zu nehmen. Indische Gefangene im Halbmondlager erhielten zahlreiche Sendungen aus England. Diese von Postgebühren und Zöllen befreiten Pakete konnten Kleidungsstücke, Geld oder Lebensmittel enthalten. Hier im Bild der Adressaufkleber einer "Brotsendung", die über eine Hilfsstelle in der neutralen Schweiz versandt worden war.
