Hadrian, Publius Aelius Hadrianus, Roman Emperor (117-38); 76-138 AD. - 'Hadrian mourns the dead Antinous'. (Favourite of the Emperor; drowned in the Nile in 130 AD). Etching by G.Mochetti after a drawing by Bartolomeo Pinelli (1781-1835).
