Description
English: Lt. Col. Tammy Von Busch, lead veterinarian embarked aboard High Speed Vessel (HSV 2) Swift, and Dr. Carlos Chamoro, lead veterinarian for the Peruvian Naval Police canine unit on Base Naval de Callao, get rid of a blood clot in Max's ear, a military working dog living on the naval base. Von Busch is participating in a subject matter expert exchange regarding military working dog care. The two different militaries are working together at the Callao Naval base as a part of HSV-Southern Partnership Station 2012. HSV-SPS is an annual deployment of U.S. Navy ships and assets to the U.S. Southern Commands area of responsibility in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
