DescriptionHSS-1 Seabat of HS-4 landing on USS Princeton (CVS-37) 1959.jpg | A U.S. Navy Sikorsky HSS-1 Seabat of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron HS-4 "Black Knights" landing aboard the aircraft carrier USS Princeton (CVS-37). HS-4 was assigned to the Princeton for a deployment to the Western Pacific from 19 June to 2 December 1958. This was Princeton´s last deployment as an aircraft carrier before her conversion to a helicopter carrier. She was redesignated LPH-5 on 2 March 1959. |
