John Mickle, a native of San Antonio, Texas, assigned to the 4th Battalion,133rd Field Artillery Regiment, Texas Army National Guard, takes a candid photo with Bulgarian soldiers after going over the functions of a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) at HEMUS 2024 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, June 6, 2024. HEMUS 2024 highlights the depth and complementary achievable effects possible through interoperable equipment in ally and partner conventional land forces. HEMUS, with its 27-year history of extensive experience, traditions, and successes, serves as the largest Bulgarian exhibition for defense equipment, products, and services.
