English: A convoy comprised of 3rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (LI) HEMTT Fuelers departed Fort Drum on Nov. 5, 2012. The convoy's destination is Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey where they will assist the National Guard in the Superstorm Sandy relief efforts and provide fuel to emergency responders in the area. The HEMTT M978 is a bulk liquid transporter, a tanker vehicle with a 2,500 gallon tank and fuel resupply module. |
