Description
English: This aircraft started it's life with KLM as PH-DSH. In the late 1960's it was owned by a company called ARCO Bermuda, first as VR-BCW and later as N9498. They were involved in some shady dealings (gun running?) and it was siezed by the Swiss authorities at Basle (BSL) in Mar-71. It was transferred to Geneva (GVA) in 1974 and re-regd with the ficticious registration HB-SSA and is used for practice by the Geneva Airport Fire Service. I don't know where the rudder came from but it's not off a DC-7!!
