Description
English: Life insurance for a horse owned by the prison in Sörnäs in Helsinki, Finland. The inmates had to work, and the horse took part in the work before cars were used.
Svenska: Senaten beslutade 1874 att bygga Tukthuset invid Helsingfors i Sörnäs för män. Fångarna skulle arbeta för sitt uppehälle och sysselsattes med alla möjliga sorters uppgifter. Före bilåldern deltog tukthusets häst i arbetet vid sidan om fångarna och personalen. Helsingfors tukthus häst fick en dödsfallsförsäkring 1.2 1899.
