Summary
[edit]DescriptionGundelsheim - "Push-Pull" Train.jpg |
English: The line between Heilbronn and Heidelberg, along the Neckar River, had been electrified by 1989. DB had introduced "push-pull" trains on some lines. This train is going away from the camera, toward Heilbronn. When it makes the return trip, the electric locomotive will remain in place, but the driver will control it from the compartment at this end of the train. The train has stainless steel "Silberling" coaches. The locomotive does not show up well, but my guess is class E 41 (141) I took this photo from a vantage point at Schloss Horneck.
