Summary
[edit]DescriptionGuinness loco 23 Amberly Chalk pits working museum.jpg | This unusual steam locomotive has its cylinders and motion mounted above the boiler. It can also run on both standard and narrow gauge. When required for standard gauge it is lifted bodily onto an adapter wagon in which the locos narrow gauge wheels turn the standard gauge wheels of the wagon. Both loco and wagon are to be seen at Amberly although not in the best of health! |
