"The Municipality has undergone several changes Guatapé through history as being essentially livestock, agriculture and mining, in the 70s of XX century, given the construction of a giant dam on its territory became a tourist stronghold .

Today Guatapé has large potential to exploit religious tourism, agrotourism, ecotourism, culture and adventure, also has hotels, restaurants, ships, boats and tourist sites to enjoy, contemplate, meditate and unwind.

Currently being developed territorial marketing projects for the community, in order to accompany a process of sustainable development and relevant community Guatapé."
