Français : L'entrée de la grotte ornée de Saint-Cirq, en Dordogne, dite "Grotte du Sorcier". Elle abritait de nombreux objets du paléolithique supérieur, et recèle de nombreuses gravures rupestres profondes, dont celle représentant un homme, dit "le sorcier". Ce sanctuaire magdalénien est classé au Patrimoine Mondial de l'Humanité par l'UNESCO depuis 1958. English: The entrance of the prehistoric cave of Saint-Cirq, Dordogne, France, called the sorcerer cave. One can see inside engraved walls, among them one of the most ancient engraving of a human beeing, from the middle magdalenian (ca. 17.000 BP). The cave is classified as "World Heritage" by UNESCO since 1958. |
