Description
English: Image associated with the book 'The Grodyński Brigade' authored by Andrzej Sylwester “Tadeusz” Grodyński (fourth from right in photograph of 133 Fighter Wing pilots in front of their Mustangs at RAF Coltishall), son of Stanisław and grandson of dr Andrzej Kusionowicz Grodyński. After completion of his flying training, Tadeusz Grodyński was assigned as a fighter pilot with 306 Toruń Combat Squadron during World War II. 306 Squadron (pl) was one of four squadrons in the 133 Fighter Wing of the RAF, which consisted at the time of three Polish squadrons 306, 309 and 315, plus one British squadron, 129. [The book 'The Grodyński Brigade' (Brygadą Grodyńskawo) was written by Tadeusz during his later life and along with his autobiography comprises the life stories of Tadeusz’s mother, father and brother who respectively served with distinction in the Polish Red Cross, Army and Navy during WWII.]
