Description The picnic shelter at Greenland Open Space in Greenland, Colorado. Regarding the shelter's design, a sign inside of it explains, "Higby Mercantile: Back on July 6, 1907, the Higby family opened a general store that handled general merchandise, gas, Deering farm equipment, and model T Fords. Recognize its facade now mimicked in the picnic shelter design ... The store operated until 1934."
