Description
Español: Detalle de la tumba de Julia Sandeman (1816-1845), en el Cementerio Inglés de Málaga, Málaga, España. La tumba tiene forma de monolito prismático rectangular coronado con una gran urna semivelada. La urna se representa solo parcialmente cubierta para facilitar simbólicamente la ascensión al cielo del alma de la difunta. El pavimento alrededor de la tumba está realizado con cantos rodados. El epitafio resulta prácticamente ilegible por la erosión del monolito. Hace referencia al nombre del esposo y a su ciudad de origen, así como al nombre del padre de la difunta. La inscripción del epitafio dice: «Here lie the remains of / Julia / Wife of David Sandeman Esq.re / of [...] / and daughter of [...] / [...] / [...] / [...] died in Malaga / [...] / [...]».
