Description
English: The grave of Esther Ganon, née Gabay (1871-1947) at the Jewish cemetery of Veyrier, which has its main entrance in the Swiss canton of Geneva but the actual graveyard on the French side of the border. A plaque commemorates her grand-daughter Ester Jaffe, who was killed by the Nazis at the age of 17 years in concentration camp of Bergen-Belsen.

Deutsch: Das Grab von Esther Ganon, geb. Gabay (1871-1947), auf dem Jüdischen Friedhof von Veyrier, dessen Haupteingang auf dem Gebiet des Schweizer Kantons Genf liegt, während sich die Gräber auf der französischen Seite der Grenze befinden. Eine Gedenktafel erinnert an ihre Enkelin Ester Jaffe, die im Alter von 17 Jahren von den Nazis im KZ Bergen-Belsen ermordet wurde.
