Summary

[edit]
Description

(20 second duration) Park visitors viewing the canyon from the western overlook of Mather Point on the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. NPS Video. (No audio track)

The 2010 Mather Point and Grand Canyon Visitor Center improvements created much needed parking at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, a vehicle-free visitor experience at Mather Point, a new rim-side amphitheater, and many informational and interpretive improvements to the visitor center plaza. Implementation of this plan has resulted in a vastly improved and more intuitive visitor experience.
