Description
English: Grave of Rachela Nirenberg (1922-1945). She died in the Nazi concentration camp Geisenheim, a subcamp of Natzweiler-Struthof. Inscription in German: "For my dear sister Rachela Nirenstein, victim of the Nazi concentration camp Geisenheim". The gravestone was given by her surviving sister Sara Nirenberg. Jewish cemetery Rüdesheim am Rhein.
Deutsch: Grabmal Rachela Nirenberg (1922-1945), Jüdischer Friedhof Rüdesheim am Rhein.

Inschrift: "Meine liebe Schwester Rachela Nirenberg, Opfer des Nazi-Arbeitslagers in Geisenheim", darüber jiddische (nicht hebräische) Inschrift: "Main teure Schwester Rachel Lea Nirnberg vom Nazi-Arbeitslager in Geisenheim..." (Quelle: Alemannia Judaica). Das Lager Geisenheim war ein Außenlager des KZ Natzweiler-Struthof und versorgte die Kriegsgemeinschaft Krupp-Essen und Maschinenfabrik Johannisberg in Geisenheim mit Arbeitskräften. Der Grabstein wurde von ihrer überlebenden Schwester Sara Nirenstein gesetzt.
