Description
English: Albert Sarraut (with sash), seen here at a public function in Hanoi in 1913, was governor-general of Indochina twice during the 1910s. The governor-generalship of Indochina was the closest France had to the prestigious viceroyalty of India.
Français : Le gouverneur général Albert Sarraut (portant l'écharpe) lors d'une cérémonie publique à Hanoï en 1913. Sarraut fut gouverneur général d'Indochine à deux reprises au cours des années 1910. L'Indochine représentait pour les Français ce que l'Inde représentait pour les Britanniques.
