Description
English: The Governor's House...
  1. Facts

1. The Governor's House (Lahore), is the official residence of the Governor of Punjab (Pakistan).

2. It is spread spread over 700 kanals.

3. The current governor of Punjab is Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar.

4. First Governor of Punjab was Sir Francis Mudie 1947-1949.

5. The Newly Elected Government of Pakistan opened it for general Public.

6. The residence is surrounded by lawns and gardens. Close to the house, there is a tomb belonging to a man by the name of Muhammad Qasim Khan.

7. Four doorways enclose the two-story tomb and to the north, there is a stairway which leads up.

8. Much of the furniture and artifacts used in the house are antique relics that date back.

9. There are also a large number of birds (patridge, hen, ducks, cranes) & mammals (deer) inside the mansion.
