Description

Gorton Monastery, Gorton, Manchester, England, under restoration. Previously, the building had been derelict since it closed for worship in 1989, and it had suffered vandalism and looting. Showing a hole which had been knocked through a wall, showing the cloister beyond.

Note: Many images in this set from 28 May 2006 are blurred or otherwise unsatisfactory. However they have been uploaded because they constitute a record of what was happening to the building during that year.
