English: Gorse hedge, Town Pasture Lane Most fields in this area are bounded by drystone walls, fences or hedges made mainly of hawthorn, blackthorn, elder and a few bigger trees. This one is therefore quite unusual in being very largely made up of gorse, still in flower in early December. |
