Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Birds eye view of Gopinath Temple, Bhangarh. After entrance through the gateway of the second fortification wall this temple is situated on the right of the pathway. This temple is the grandest of all the temples, both in architectural plan and designs specially the superior carving and decoration. The ionic images are also of a high order. The temple faces east and is erected on a high oblong platform with a flight of steps leading to it from ground level on the east. The temple has an entrance porch with high seats on either side with kakshasanas at back.
