Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Goodshelter. A typical South Hams waterside hamlet. This one is set upon Waterhead Creek, which dries out at low tide, but water at high tide allows boats to be winterized in the boat yard situated there, for medium sized Boston Whaler. It was here that many of the famous Salcombe Yawls were first built.
