Description
English: "Going the Rounds of Coney Island's Rivals".

Top left: Fourteenth Street lacks only a boardwalk, sand, and some one-piece bathing suits to be a beach.

Center: Palisade Park looks better than this, really. But it wouldn't do for modernist art to show things too much as they are .

Top right: The traveling Coney of the East Side. If not strictly a merry-go-round, it is as merry as possible for two cents.

Lower left: From South Beach you can sight Coney Island well enough across the water to make odious comparison.

Lower right: Coney Island itself, when all is said and done—exhausting as that is—is the place to go and get it over.
