Description View of the Langebrug in Leiden with two buildings now gone. To the left: The St Peter's church (Petruskerk) and to the right: The (men only) clubhouse of the Nieuwe Sociëteit, often referred to as 'Women's sorrow' (Vrouwenverdriet). The church burnt down in 1933; the clubhouse was demolished in 1887.
