Titel: Gods verbond met Noach
Beschrijving: Nadat Noach alle dieren uit de ark had laten gaan, bouwde hij een altaar waarop hij brandoffers bracht van alle 'reine dieren en reine vogels' (Genesis 8:20-23). Daarna beloofde God dat de aarde, mensen en dieren nooit meer een dergelijke ramp zouden meemaken. Teken van deze belofte is de regenboog (Genesis 9:8-17). De twee passages uit Genesis zijn in deze voorstelling samengebracht.
Herkomst: Samen met delen betimmering uit pand Leuvehaven 103, huis van Josua van Belle II (1680-1738). Kadasterkaart 1832, H 131 (Leuvehaven westzijde, een huis ten zuiden van de Leuvebrugsteeg).
