Description
Deutsch: Diese Plakatwerbung, von der Fernstraße I-65 sichtbar, außerhalb von Montgomery, Alabama, war Besitz von W.S. Newell bis zu seinem Tod im Jahr 2009. Auf der Tafel steht "Go to church or the Devil will get you!" ("Geh zur Kirche oder der Teufel wird dich kriegen!") neben eines Bildnis des Teufels. Daneben steht ein Wasserrad. Die Werbung gibt's seit etwa 1995 und war vorübergehend durch politische Werbung ersetzt.
English: This billboard on I-65 NB north of Montgomery, Alabama, was owned by W.S. Newell until his death in 2009. The billboard reads "Go to church or the Devil will get you!" and includes a red devil with a tail, horns, and a scythe. A water wheel spins to the right. The billboard was erected circa 1995 and temporarily replaced by a political advertisement. [1][2][3]
