Summary
[edit]DescriptionGlencarron Platform (geograph 5113171).jpg |
English: Glencarron Platform. This was a minor station on the Kyle of Lochalsh Line. It was officially closed in 1964, but apparently trains continued to stop here on request for some years after. Some stones along the platform edge are visible, as well as a small wooden shelter. It seems this shelter has been restored within the last few years. Now with plenty of rhododendron growing along both sides of the railway line. |
