English: Glen House. Largely obscured by trees, the house is next to the Welney & Manea pumping station. Taken from the top of the Old Bedford Low Bank. The public footpath along the bank drops down and passes through the larger metal gate. The area of trees at the back, beyond the further green field, is around Colony Lake, and must be roughly the site of the Manea Colony, also described at 631545 - see http://www.welney.org.uk/Manea_colony.htm . |
