English: The Girgentana goat originates from the Italian province of Agrigento (Sicily). The city of Agrigento Girgenti was until 1929, after her goats, this race named.
Français : Les chèvres Girgentana viennent de la province italienne d'Agrigento (Sicile). Jusqu'en 1929, la ville d'Agrigento Girgenti a porté le nom de ses chèvres.
