English: Spc. Erik Ballentine, a native of Mililani, Hawaii, inspects the eye of a boy, March 31, in the village of Juwebe, which is located southwest of Baghdad. The boy was injured during a soccer game when the ball was kicked and struck him in the eye. Ballentine was able to treat the boy and explained to his father how to properly care for his son. He serves as a medic with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment "Gimlets," 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, Multi-National Division – Baghdad.
