English: "Khoresht e gheymeh" is a meal which almost every Iranian loves. They make it especially for family parties and religious traditions. For example, they ask God for something and they promise to make "gheymeh" if it comes true. Then it would be shared with neighbors and relatives. Also you can find this delicious dish in every restaurant that serves Iranian food.
It is made of pieces of meat, yellow split peas, tomato paste, dried lemons, onions, Iranian saffron, and lovely golden fries on top. It is served with rice and designed with yellow saffron rice. If you are going to visit Iran, this perfect food is strongly recommended.
