Description Das Gewerkschaftshaus am Besenbinderhof 56 bis 66 in St. Georg wurde von 1903 bis 1913 in mehreren Bauabschnitten nach Entwürfen von Heinrich Krug und Wilhelm Schröder erbaut. Es war zunächst das Hamburger Hauptquartier der Generalkommission der Gewerkschaften Deutschlands und ab 1919 des Allgemeinen Deutschen Gewerkschaftsbundes. Heute hat dort der DGB Hamburg seinen Sitz.
