English: A German policeman next to U.S. Victory Liberty Loan posters attached to an advertising column in the Hauptmarkt, Trier, Rhenish Prussia, Germany, 16 April 1919. U.S. troops occupied the the city between 1 December 1918 and 11 August 1919.
