| Description |
My seat on the ICE (Inter City Express) train from Frankfurt to Weimar was right behind the driver's compartment. I could see what he saw. This is the view going through a station, with another ICE train on the opposite track. The train was class 401, the first group of ICE trains. On the way, I clocked a speed of 151 kph (94 mph). There was rain on the way to Weimar, but that was just about the only rain during my two-week trip. The location is very approximate. |
