[edit]DescriptionGeranium molle flower5 Uralla (15282836801).jpg | Introduced, cool season, annual or biennial herb to 50 cm tall. Stems are softly hairy. Leaves on stems are opposite, palmatifid (primary lobes divided to about halfway) with lamina circular to reniform, 1–4 cm wide, and villous; petiole to 7 cm long. Flowers are paired; peduncle 1–2 cm long; pedicels to 1.2 cm long. Sepals are 4 mm long and petals are 4–5 mm long and mauvish pink. Anthers are mauve. Fruit are 8–11 mm long, with hairless mericarps.Flowering is from September to January. A native of Eurrope, it is found in disturbed or waste places. |
