Description
English: Creator: Herbert John Pardey .

Location:Pittsworth, Queensland.

Description: This image is from the 33532, Herbert John Pardey's glass plates and digital images of Pittsworth area collection.

Pittsworth is a small rural community near Toowoomba, on the Darlinig Downs. It is a service centre for the surrounding farms which grow cereal crops, cotton, linseed and sunflowers. There are also beef cattle properties in the area.

Lindenberg & Co. was founded by Charles Lindenberg in 1889. It was taken over by his son Henry Lindenberg in 1910. Henry controlled the business until it was taken over by his sons in 1958. This building was in Yandilla Street. (Description supplied with photograph)
