Description
Deutsch: Gemälde von Markus Pernhart, Eisenwalzwerk um 1865 in Lippitzbach, Gemeinde Ruden, Kärnten, Österreich, EU des Max-Thaddäus-Graf-Egger, Montanindustrieller und Vater von Franz J. N. Graf von Egger; Großvater von Ferdinand Graf von Egger. Er übernahm die von seinem Großonkel 1698 erworbene Hütte Treibach (Kärnten), deren Hochofen er nach 1766 zu einem der größten und leistungsfähigsten Europas ausbaute. Er errichtete 1793-95 in Lippitzbach (Unterkärnten) das erste Tiegelstahl- und Blechwalzwerk Österreichs.
