Description

Gedenkstein an die Geburt des Kunsthistorikers Wilhelm Lübke am Propsteihof Dortmund Eigene Aufnahme August 2006 Die Gedenktafel Wilhelm Lübkes befindet sich nicht mehr am "Geburtshaus"; dieses wurde Mitte der achtziger Jahre des 20. Jahrhunderts abgerissen. Erst nach langer Zeit, etwa 1995, wurde die Steinplatte an einem Neubau angebracht, der ca. 50 Meter vom ehemaligen Geburtshaus entfernt steht.Das Geburtshaus Wilhelm Lübkes war ein im 19. Jahrhundert verfallender Flügel des ehemaligen Dominikanerklosters. Siehe hierzu seine "Lebenserinnerungen", 1891 bei Friedrich Fontane in Berlin erschienen.
