Deutsch: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anton_van_Norden. Anton van Norden war ein deutscher Architekt und kommunaler Baubeamter. Die Gestaltung zahlreicher Gebäude in Peine gehen auf Anton van Norden zurück, so auch dieses Gebäude auf dem St.-Jakobi-Friedhof. Nach Brandes et al. (1999) wurde das Gebäude 1925/26 gebaut.

Der Peiner Friedhof hat in der Verantwortung der St.-Jakobi-Kirchengemeinde seit 1901 an der Gunzelinstraße Gestalt angenommen hat. Er befindet sich in der Stadt und ist auch ein Ort der Begegnung. In der parkartigen Anlage können Spaziergänge sehr entspannend sein. Im Hintergrund sind Wohnhäuser an der Albert-Sergel-Straße sichtbar. Der Friedhof befindet sich zwischem dem Eulenring im Osten, der Duttenstedter Straße im Norden, der Gunzelinstraße im Süden und der Albert-Sergel-Straße im Westen. |
