Description
English: The left side shows a list of tinned meats, and a woolly sheep. The right side shows an arrangement of various texts and letterings, with a crest of His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, and the words "Patronised by the Duke of Edinburgh". There is also a logo for the Sydney International Exhibition in 1879, and the Melbourne International Exhibition of 1880, at which Gear Meat won prizes. There are instructions to clean off below the rim and push the meat out as from a mould tin in one unbroken piece, and to slice with a sharp knife.

Dated by labels reporting prizes in 1879 and 1880.
